Hi, I am Gaia, I am Italian and I live in London, UK.
I am a freelancer digital and website designer (front-end developer). In regards to web-design I work with web-standards and towards accessibility.
I hand-code sites which are accessible, up to date with the Web Standards and that work in current versions of all major browsers including those made by Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla and Opera. If requested my sites are also tested to work in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Windows, although it is now past it’s sell-by date.
You will find my html (that’s the code on the webpage) meaningful and semantically significant. You will find that my CSS (that’s what gives style to the content) validates, is well organised and precise.
The websites I hand-code are fast to upload and user-friendly.
I have studied web-design at the London’s Tower Hamlet College (year 2008 – 2009), with a very inspiring, hard-core web-standards teacher, Prisca Schmarsow .
I am now studying Digital Media Design at the University of Arts, London College of Communication.
