I am Gaia. I am an Italian Londoner, a digital-webdesigner and front-end developer. In all my work I thrive to comply with web standards and accessibility, I hand code xhtml and CSS and if you need me, we can talk about some freelance work.

My sites work in current versions of all major browsers including those made by Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla and Opera. If requested my sites are also tested to work in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Windows, although it is now past it’s sell-by date.

You will find my sites fast to upload and user-friendly, my xhtml (that's the code on the webpage) meaningful and semantically significant. You will find that my CSS (that's what gives style to the content) validates, is well organised and precise.

In 2008-2009 I studied website design at the London's Tower Hamlet College with a very inspiring, hard-core web-standards teacher, Prisca Schmarsow. I am now undergoing a Foundation Degree in Digital Design at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts, London.

This is my portfolio site, I also host a second, much more playful and interactive university site which I built to showcase all the work I am creating while on the course at the University of the Arts.
